  1. This is my new favorite blog! I think I practically ditched work this Monday just jumping around on all the reviews and profiles of these talented film composers.

    I have a unique suggestion to add in your Composer Cameo series: John Rubinstein. He's the opposite — he's mainly an actor who cameos as a composer! While he was playing on Broadway as the original Pippin in 1093, he did the scores for Jeremiah Johnson and a other 70s movies. He's done a few TV themes and scores since then, so he's not much of a film composer anymore. (And as you know, his pedigree is pretty shiny, as the son of renowned pianist Arthur Rubinstein…
